Serendipity Stables offers equestrian opportunities to people in our community who are looking to learn to ride English & enjoy time with horses outside in nature. Learn more about our facility and lessons below:
What types of Riding Lessons do you offer?
We offer English recreational / novice lessons at our facility for ages 8 and up. We start all riders in a bareback pad. Once specific skills are learned, riders will progress to riding in a saddle. Please note: Rider weight limit is 180 lbs for the horses that our facility has.
What will I learn in your lessons?
Our lessons teach students basic riding skills and how to safely interact with horses. You will learn to halter, groom, and tack your horse. In lessons, you will learn English riding techniques to walk, trot (seated and posting), and eventually canter a horse.
I haven’t ever ridden a horse. Do you have classes for me?
Yes! We work with many students (children and adults) who have not had previous experience riding horses. You will be asked about your experience level when you fill out our lesson documents.
Do you offer other programs working with horses?
We do! We offer Groundwork classes. This is one of our favorite programs - you will learn to work with & communicate with your horse on the ground (no riding). This is one of the most important class sessions for anyone looking to connect with horses and we highly encourage all of our students to enroll in at least one session of Groundwork.
Do you offer Private Lessons?
We do not offer Private Lessons. We only offer Group lessons in the English discipline.
Do you offer Jumping Lessons or Advanced Riding Lessons?
We do not offer any Jumping Lessons or Advanced Riding lessons.
What do I need to wear or bring to my Riding Lesson?
Please wear appropriate lightweight long pants and a long sleeve top for the current season of weather. Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED. We have helmets available for all riders if you do not have your own.
How do I sign up for lessons?
We ask that you come by in person to view our facility and meet our staff. At that time, you will get to read and review our waivers and lesson documents. You may drop in or call ahead to schedule a visit. 801-277-1602
What form of payments do you accept?

Do you offer Trail Rides, Birthday Parties, or Pony Rides?
